We are already bringing together VŠE students for independent media.

We oppose changes to the funding of Czech Television and Czech Radio without a thorough economic assessment and open expert debate. That is why we have published an open letter to the Prime Minister.

The funding of Czech Television (ČT) and Czech Radio (ČRo) is being intensely debated in public. We have therefore decided to set up an initiative that brings VŠE students together – so they can take part in the public debate on an informed basis.
We are an independent group of students. We do not speak for the university’s leadership or for any political party.
What do we want to do?
Share verified information
We select information from trustworthy sources and pass it on clearly, always stating where it comes from.
Explain the economic implications
We are a school of economics. We show how public service media are funded and what the different options mean in practice.
Connect students and take action
We bring together people across faculties and fields of study so they can take part together in the public debate and in concrete activities.
